[Made from Your Requests] BROOKS Grip Exclusive Brass Parts

After showcasing the custom leather grips for BROOKS on YouTube, we received a ton of requests to turn these brass parts into a product, so we had them made at a metal workshop in Osaka. It’s a detailed process, but I think this custom setup will let you enjoy the aging of both the leather and brass over time.

Note: These parts are specifically for the BROOKS PLUMP LEATHER GRIPS.

How Many Pieces You Need:

• 1 leather skipped: 18 pieces per side, 36 pieces total for both sides
• 2 leathers skipped: 11 pieces per side, 22 pieces total for both sides
• 3 leathers skipped: 8 pieces per side, 16 pieces total for both sides

Enjoy Custom Aging
BROOKS PLUMP LEATHER GRIPS are made from thick leather, similar to what’s used for saddles. When you first get them, the edges are a bit frayed, and the cut edges are a light color. Over time, with use, your hands’ oils, sweat, and dirt will darken and add shine to the leather. Essentially, you’re growing the grips with your own hands!

These brass parts are made from solid brass with no coating, meaning they’ll age just like a shiny coin, slowly turning from bright to a more subdued tone as you use them. The aged brass pairs beautifully with the leather, and both materials will continue to evolve based on how you use them, so enjoy the process!

How to Assemble
To make a set for both grips, you’ll need 10 brass pieces per side (20 pieces in total). As you insert the brass parts between the leather, you’ll have a few extra leather pieces left. Check out the video for assembly instructions!

Before You Buy:

• These parts are laser-cut to the measurements of the BROOKS PLUMP LEATHER GRIPS available on Amazon between 2023 and 2024. If the grips you have differ in size, the parts may not fit, so please confirm the dimensions of your grips before purchasing.
• The brass has not been coated or processed, and the laser-cut edges are minimally finished for safety, so be careful while handling. Excessive pressure on the edges during handling or use may cause injury or leave marks on clothes.
• Brass contains copper and zinc, which may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. If you’re prone to metal allergies, avoid use or wear gloves for protection.
• These parts are designed to be inserted into the leather of the BROOKS PLUMP LEATHER GRIPS. We cannot be held responsible for any damage or changes to the leather and brass from long-term exposure to certain storage conditions (such as temperature changes or rain).
