If you want the easiest way to dress up your fixed gear, these hub nuts are absolutely the move.
“Such a tiny part—who would even notice?”
Oh no no no. Swap all four nuts—front and rear—and suddenly the entire wheel, no actually the entire bike, shines like you just leveled it up in a video game. These are tiny giants.
When you’ve got these installed, any fixed-gear rider will give you the knowing nod:
“Ah yeah, those RUNWELL ones.”
They sit on a totally different level compared to those shiny silver “bonus parts” that come stock with most hubs. The look, the glow—completely different class.
A Level of Obsession Worth Respecting
These nuts hold the design obsession of RUNWELL’s CEO, Mr. Aiba.
There’s a slight taper on the top edge, and it’s not for decoration—it's so the wrench seats smoothly.
Cheap hub nuts usually have sharp, square faces, and unless your wrench sits dead-on, they’re annoying to use.
This tapered shape lets the wrench catch easily and securely—especially when you're tightening down hard.
Plus, newer forks often have those anti-drop safety tabs, and bulky nuts simply won't fit because they hit that protrusion.
So RUNWELL made the base diameter as compact as possible, meaning these nuts fit more fork shapes than conventional ones.
Just check your hub and fork shape beforehand, and you’ll be good.
And hey—when it comes time to tighten them, there’s only one tool worthy of the job:
