Specially designed for fixed gear
As you may already know that I’m a freak about Brooklyn Machine Works if you check my instagram. Also I love doing tricks with it.
For many years I’ve been looking for a handlebar something cool and best much with BMW, yet makes it easier to do tricks.
Long story short, I couldn’t find the perfect one. So I made them!
Thank you so much for your interest. Wherever you are, I’m just glad that there are more people to share what I love.
For tricks lovers
Needless to say fixed gear tricks are one of great things. These bars are made for someone enjoy tricks.
It’s long & wide, stable, and most importantly looks cool!
For easy riders
If you looking for a light-weighted handlebar for a super fast track bike, I think these bars are not the best choice.
It’s for more like slow, low gear, easy ride.
The two inches rise of bar sets your body relaxed position.
Made in Japan, ofcourse the materials too!
All pipes are made in Japan.Welding are done by Japanese welding craftsman one by one in Ibaragi, Japan.
And Yes, these are the reasons why these bars are a bit pricy.
Rough & tough looks -Raw color, clear coated finish
It’s reminds you of the good old days 1960s – easy rider looks like, rough, rustic, stubborn.
To prevent rust, It’s coated with clear gloss spray.
|Back sweep||6 degree|
There are two types. One with edge lidded, the other just has corners.
Both types are same geometry.
What you need to know
1 It’s hand made
This means it’s not 100% elaborately sophisticated as machine manufacturing.
Most of processes are done by hand.
2 Welding marks are not even
Although the craftsman has professional skills, these bar’s pipes were built from small pipes. As you can see welding marks are sometimes not even.
3 Burning patterns are individually different
I specifically ordered to be careful making burning pattern more (not less) for visual. But since it’s handmade, each has slightly different looks.
So what you see here is not exact what you get.
4 May have small scratches
I handle these bars carefully but since it’s raw material with clear coating, you may find small scratches as below.
I didn’t want it shiny so I left it as it was. I don’t recommend if you are nervous about the fineness of surface.
Ofcourse I’ll make sure to wrap nicely and tightly.
How to care
If you have some car wax, you can wax it as same as your car time to time. Wax oil will prevent rust.
I named them “Batbar”. I’d like to offer you sales price in Japan plus shipping charge as below. Bars will be shipped via EMS (Express Mail Service by Japan post). It’s lower price than DHL or Fedex.
