【B】Kalavinka NJS /530/550/Rear120

This Kalavinka frame features a striking off-white finish accented by bold blue logos. One particularly unique detail is the all-silver head badge, with no added color—a rare variation. While it’s not officially confirmed, there’s an interesting rumor that during a period when Mr. Tanabe, the builder behind Kalavinka, was caring for his wife’s health, colored detailing on the badges became difficult to produce, resulting in these silver-only or minimal-color versions. If true, this would make the head badge a rather special and meaningful one.

The frame has some paint chips here and there, but overall it remains in clean condition with no major dents. Note, however, that the bottom section of the head tube shows exposed metal due to rust under the paint—something we like to think of as part of the frame’s character.

Before delivery, we’ll apply rust inhibitor and wax to protect and preserve the finish.
