【C】Kalavinka NJS /490/525/Rear120

A heavily used black Kalavinka frame—this one wears its history proudly. It feels like the rider’s blood, sweat, and tears are soaked into the tubing itself. While the bottom bracket shell (a common rust-prone area due to trapped rainwater) isn’t in bad shape, rust has formed across the exterior in several places where paint has chipped away.

If you're the kind of person who sees rust as character rather than a flaw, this frame has plenty to love. That said, be aware of a 3cm dent on the right side of the top tube and a 4cm dent on the left side of the down tube—nothing structural, but worth noting.

A unique detail: the head badge is entirely silver, with no painted color. Rumor has it that during a time when Kalavinka builder Mr. Tanabe’s wife (who was said to handle the painting) was unwell, badges were left uncolored or only partially finished. If that's true, this could be a rare piece of Kalavinka lore.

The frame will be delivered treated with rust-preventive coating and wax for preservation.
